Atlas complex: reaches drones where electronic warfare with “white noise” cannot
There is a saying: “If you want to make God laugh, use electronic warfare without EW”. Even the most advanced electronic warfare (EW) capabilities are ineffective if you don’t have complete information about the drone. And only a highly functional electronic intelligence system (EIS) can provide such information.
That’s why Kvertus has created Atlas, a set of high-tech electronic intelligence and electronic warfare systems. The complex is capable of detecting “wings” at a distance of up to 150 km and effectively suppressing targets at a distance of up to 30 km.
Atlas has two components that work in synergy: The KVERTUS MS AZIMUTH radar system and the KVERTUS LTEJ MIRAGE smart radar system. The former detects drones, UAVs and their operators’ consoles and performs in-depth analysis of the signals intercepted from them. Based on the information received, the operator programs the optimal jamming of the electronic warfare system to suppress the target.
Azimuth is a passive detection system that has no analogues in Ukraine. In terms of its functionality, it competes with the best products of world leaders such as Aaronia, TCI and Rohde & Schwarz, but has a much more favorable price.
Azimuth scans the radio airwaves in a wide range of 30-6000 MHz, detecting not only drones and UAVs, but also their repeaters, control panels, radars, and electronic warfare equipment. The system remains invisible to enemy radio reconnaissance, as it operates in a passive mode without emitting signals. It provides the operator with comprehensive data about the target: frequency, bearing, protocol type, spread factor, and allows intercepting video feeds from the drone. Two Azimuth systems allow triangulating the signal from the target and pinpointing its coordinates.
The Mirage system is an advanced electronic warfare system capable of jamming drones and UAVs that use EW-resistant communication protocols. Mirage’s architecture is based on the principle of “designer”: the customer has 14 options for combining radio jamming bands. The full list of bands covers the 300-6000 MHz spectrum.
The Mirage jammer is automatically programmed in the Azimuth interface based on the target data received. The jammer can be emitted simultaneously by directional (log-periodic or horn) and omni-directional (quadrifilar) antennas.
