Free Training
Kvertus provides free training for EW and ES operators who work or plan to work with modern electronic warfare and SIGINT systems.
The course includes training on the ATLAS system — an integrated solution that combines the KVERTUS MS AZIMUTH SIGINT system and the smart‑EW LTEJ MIRAGE system.

What do we cover?
The training covers the full counter‑UAV cycle—from detection to neutralization. EW courses are based on practical combat experience and include: UAV signal detection, direction finding, signal parameter measurement, jamming waveform generation, and drone suppression in practical conditions. During ES training, trainees work with the ATLAS system, which combines the KVERTUS MS AZIMUTH SIGINT system and the smart‑EW LTEJ MIRAGE system.
How long is the course?
Course duration is 3 days:
Day 1 — fundamentals of electronic warfare and SIGINT system; Day 2 — working with equipment: KVERTUS MS AZIMUTH ES and smart‑EW LTEJ MIRAGE; Day 3 — practical live training on a range.
Training takes place in Kyiv; deployment of instructors to your military unit is also possible.
How to apply for training?
To apply for free training, you need to: complete the registration form on the website; prepare an official training request from the military unit; and agree on the date with the manager. After confirmation, you will be assigned to the nearest group.

FAQ
Free EW training and SIGINT training for operators from Kvertus
In EW and SIGINT work, operator error often costs more than technical failure. A system can detect a signal, show direction and provide target parameters – but you still need a person who can interpret this correctly and make a timely decision. For this reason, Kvertus provides free EW training for military specialists and operators working with modern anti‑UAV solutions.
The electronic warfare training programme is built around the ATLAS system. ATLAS is not a single device, but a combined chain for UAV detection and countermeasures: AZIMUTH handles signals intelligence, while Mirage delivers targeted suppression. During Kvertus training, participants study not only the interface, but also the logic of how the system works in real‑world conditions.
Who are the EW courses and SIGINT courses for?
These EW courses are suitable for servicemen, technical operators, specialists from EW and SIGINT units, communications personnel and teams involved in UAV detection and counter‑UAV operations.
The programme is also valuable for those who already have experience with equipment but want a deeper understanding of what is happening in the spectrum. In the field, an operator must quickly distinguish a drone from other emitters, assess direction and parameters, and decide when to move from monitoring to active countermeasures.
How EW training is conducted
EW training consists of theoretical and practical modules. First, participants cover the basics: radio channel principles, typical UAV signals, how drones behave in different scenarios, and the role of the operator when working with a complex.
After that, work with the system begins. Participants learn the interface, how to read data, analyse signals and understand how the situation in the spectrum is changing.
The EW and SIGINT training programme covers:
- fundamentals of the radio‑frequency spectrum;
- detection of UAV signals and other emitters;
- direction‑finding and bearing to the target;
- measurement and assessment of signal parameters;
- working with the ATLAS system;
- practical application of the complex on a training range.
Theory and introduction to the ATLAS system
The theoretical block focuses on typical operator tasks: how to detect activity in the spectrum, how to understand that the source is a drone, how to assess direction, and when to apply counter‑UAV measures.
The ATLAS system combines the AZIMUTH SIGINT device and the smart EW Mirage. AZIMUTH searches for signals, identifies their parameters and helps the operator understand where the activity originates. Mirage is then used after data analysis, when it is necessary to create targeted interference against a specific UAV.
A separate part of the electronic warfare courses is dedicated to the interface. Participants learn not just which buttons to press, but how to read the situation: recognise changes in the signal, assess its stability, direction and probable type of source.
Practical electronic warfare training on the range
The practical phase takes place on a training range, where participants work with the ATLAS system in conditions closer to reality. This is important, because in a classroom the signal picture is clear and controlled, whereas in the field the spectrum may be dense and unstable.
During the exercises, operators practise signal search, working with bearings, analysing collected data and applying countermeasure scenarios. They see how the system reacts when the signal source moves or when multiple active targets appear in the spectrum.
This practical block is what makes the electronic warfare courses truly useful for follow‑on work in a combat unit.
What skills does the operator gain?
After completing the EW and SIGINT courses, participants have a much clearer understanding of how EW and SIGINT systems work in practice. This is not just familiarisation with hardware, but preparation for situations where data must be analysed quickly and decisions taken without delay.
Participants gain skills in working with AZIMUTH and Mirage, learning how to perform detection, basic analysis, assessment and preparation for UAV suppression. On completion of the programme, a certificate is issued.
How to apply for free EW training
Free EW training from Kvertus is available for servicemen who plan to work with modern SIGINT systems and electronic warfare systems. To take part, units should contact the company via the Kvertus website or other available communication channels.
Specialists will clarify the training format, schedule, group composition and organisational details. The combined SIGINT training and EW courses are built around practical work with real signals, the ATLAS system and scenarios that operators are likely to face in the field.
Kvertus training helps prepare operators who understand not only the hardware, but also the underlying logic of electronic warfare and signals intelligence.
