Kvertus CEO Yaroslav Filimonov Spoke at the “Protection of Infrastructure and Industrial Facilities” Forum
Kvertus CEO Yaroslav Filimonov took part in a panel discussion at the “Protection of Infrastructure and Industrial Facilities” Forum, organized as part of the Security 2.0 exhibition.
During the panel, representatives of public and private enterprises, as well as manufacturers and integrators of large-scale facility protection solutions, discussed not individual tools but a comprehensive approach to securing critical infrastructure.
Yaroslav Filimonov emphasized that each new wave of attacks is becoming increasingly technologically sophisticated. Modern unmanned systems utilize resilient communication links, networked coordination, and alternative control methods. Therefore, countering such threats also requires a systematic approach.
In his speech, the Kvertus CEO highlighted several key points: electronic warfare is not “a single device on a rooftop,” but rather part of a broader security ecosystem; effective critical infrastructure protection must combine detection capabilities, flexible response mechanisms, centralized management of protection assets, and continuous software updates.
Yaroslav Filimonov also underscored the importance of SMART EW — adaptive systems that do not operate solely on fixed frequencies but instead detect signals and generate interference precisely where it is needed. He further noted that 24/7 technical support and continuous modernization are essential requirements for maintaining effective protection.
Kvertus supports the consolidation of Ukrainian manufacturers within the Radioelectronic Alliance of Ukraine and cooperates with the Armada Association. This approach helps create an environment in which companies do not compete against one another but complement each other’s capabilities within a unified protection ecosystem.
The Kvertus team thanks the organizers of Security 2.0 for providing a platform for professional dialogue and extends its appreciation to all participants for the open discussion on strengthening the protection of Ukraine’s critical infrastructure.
