We held the 4th event of the “Protect a Soldier from a Drone” campaign
August 29, 2024 , which encourages society to promote the development of the EW and EW industry to protect the lives and health of the military at the front.
The event was opened by KVERTUS CEO Yaroslav Filimonov. He asked the guests to observe a minute of silence for the fallen defenders of Ukraine: “On August 29, we annually mark the anniversary of the Ilovaisk tragedy. The summer was a time of particularly intense work for us, which resulted in new directions for the company’s development. KVERTUS Commercial Director Sergey Skoryk told the guests about them. “First, we demonstrated the Novator-2 armored vehicle with the KVERTUS AD KRAKEN COUNTER FPV F3 M50 electronic warfare system installed on it and announced cooperation with other Ukrainian armored vehicle manufacturers. Secondly, we presented the KVERTUS LTEJ MIRAGE system based on our latest development – Long-Term Evolution Jamming (LTEJ) technology. This technology provides significantly higher efficiency of countering drones in a wide range of frequencies along with a much longer range and energy efficiency. Thirdly, we presented the KVERTUS MS AERO AZIMUTH detection system based on a balloon. It allows to determine the location of drone remotes at a distance of several tens of kilometers. Fourth, they showed a prototype of a ground-based remote-controlled electronic warfare platform capable of transporting electronic warfare systems to the desired point of combat. The event was attended by about 70 guests: philanthropists, volunteers, military personnel, investors, journalists, and representatives of the Communications Department of the Logistics Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. To help civilian guests understand the realities of fighting drones on the front line, we organized a simulation of drone attacks on military positions. Their group tried to “hit” the drones with small arms, firing blank cartridges, and defended themselves with KVERTUS electronic warfare equipment.Views: 4
